What was the highlight of Honeybee Royal Inn

Nice place in an ugly city!

It was a good surprise. Considering Cebu, this place is a good place to stay. The neighbourhood is not the best but it is close to the centre. The room was big, clean and with TV and Aircon. The water like most of the places cold. Good value for money even though The Philippines are insanely increasing the prices offering the same services.

The breakfast included is a Philippino style one. I would have been happier just with a tea or a coffee! :)

Shithouse!!!

They lied about the bathtub being there, none. The WiFi was not reliable. No communication for 2 days. They lied about the telephone...none, broken on the floor. They don’t allow you to call mobile numbers, either. Only local. Too expensive in Philippines. There are no public phones in Philippines.

Basic hotel in Cebu city

Basic and cheap hotel in the hearth of Cebu city. Easy to reach all sights and the center. Shops and restaurants are next to the hotel, bus station in 10 min. walk. Basic philippine breakfast.

Uncomfortable bed. The breakfast arrived at 6 am :(

Cheap yet Creepy

Its cheap. There is 7-eleven outside the building.

The place/room looks and feels creepy. There are corners in the building that has no lighting. It seems that they just started in the business of hotelier and they just renovated an old building. In terms of security, there are only three people working in that building like the customer service is also the cook/housekeeping and the carpenter also serves as their security guard. Expect that there is no one in the front desk at all times. It is also difficult to communicate to them properly because they are not fluent in tagalog neither english. Needs more improvement. With regards our room, window has no lock, no hot shower, wall partitions are only made of plywood, and there is no extra electrical outlet. If you are looking for a budget room, you might consider this with precaution.

Nice stay

I like the location. Although i can't use my mobile data because the network/connection was awful. But they have wifi so not a big deal.

We are on a budget trip so i booked in a cheap hotel. I am so thankful to the staff of honeybee Royal Inn because they were so helpful and caring. I really love the location because we just walked around Colon and find some interesting places. Like magellan's cross and some shopping malls. We paid like 900+ and i am so glad because they served as breakfast and when you go out to buy some food or necessities you can find 7/11 outside the hotel. So convenient if you don't want to malls/restaurants.

its a boarding house not a hotel,no visitors allowed in the room.No hot water only cold. cups supplied but no way to heat water and no coffee .Very small room

breakfast was the same for all 17 days.

dirty bathroom. no internet inside the room. breakfast is always the same fried thing and is a very small serving.example they gave us 2 pcs of small sausage and 1 boiled egg. tissue was given at the last week. bathroom ceiling is leaking. the pail is dirty and the shower smells like turbid water. not fit for use.

My stay in honeybee royal inn

The hotel is near to the center of cebu

They have intercom but not functional.. Receptionists is nowhere to found.. And the management has no consideration at all.. We asked if we can stay beyond our check out date and pay the excess hour because we went to simala and we want our things to be left in the hotel but the management did not consider our request considering that we checked in late. Receiving area is not pleasant to the eyes,.

The receptionist is not dressed professionally.

Clean bed sheets.

Practically no wifi inside the room. The cable tv does not work(it turns on then goes off never turn back on again ever). The chair looks like it has been picked up from the garbage dump.
